Privacy policy

HostBook stores the details you enter in the guidebook form, the generated guidebook, and, if you buy, your email address and order reference from our payment provider. This is used only to produce, host, and deliver your guidebook and to respond to support requests. Property photos you upload are stored privately (Cloudflare R2) with your guidebook and shown only through its own links. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Processing

Guidebook text is produced using Anthropic's Claude API; your form answers are sent to that service for generation and are not used to train models. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their privacy policy. Transactional email is sent by Resend.

Analytics

We count page views using a hashed, truncated IP address that cannot be reversed. If we run advertising, the site may load the Meta Pixel to measure whether ads lead to purchases; it sets a cookie and shares page-view and purchase events with Meta under Meta's privacy policy. You can block it with any content blocker without affecting the service.

Your rights

Email us from the contact page to export or delete your data. Hosted guidebook pages use unguessable links; treat the link as private if your guidebook contains access codes.
